Watford City Hosts Family-Friendly Barn Dance Fundraiser & Silent Auction To Support 6th Annual Watford City MobilePack For Feed My Starving Children

Watford City, ND – The Watford City community is rallying to make a difference in the fight against global hunger! Join us for an Alcohol-Free Family-Friendly Barn Dance Fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 1, from 7-10 p.m. at the McKenzie County Ag Expo, as we prepare for the 6th Annual Watford City MobilePack for Feed My Starving Children (FMSC).

This barn dance and silent auction filled with music, dancing, and fun for all ages, will raise funds to cover the cost of food supplies for the packing of over 170,000 life-saving meals at the MobilePack event scheduled for March 27–29, at the Rough Rider Center, Watford City.

The Power of 2 Hours: Turn Hunger Into Hope With Your Own Two Hands

Organizers are calling on the community to consider donating just two hours of their time to volunteer at the Watford City MobilePack event in March. In that short amount of time, each volunteer can hand-pack enough meals to feed a child for nearly an entire year.

Volunteering for just two hours at the MobilePack is incredibly impactful. You literally turn hunger into hope with your own two hands. It’s a powerful experience to know that your time is directly saving lives and giving people a future.

Feed My Starving Children, a non-profit organization, provides specially formulated MannaPack meals that are packed by volunteers and distributed to people affected by abject poverty in over 100 countries. This March, the Watford City MobilePack will bring together volunteers of all ages (5 and up) to help meet this critical need.
