Participate In Richland County Economic Development Survey

Richland Economic Development Corp (REDC) has successfully attained $145,000 to conduct a county-wide economic development survey to determine what our current strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats are.

REDC hired Kadrmas, Lee & Jackson (KLJ) to conduct the strategic planning and preparation for the economic diversification and comprehensive economic development strategies. The first stage of the project is to gather information from the residents and the public of Richland County.

This week, several meetings will be held around the county to attain as many respondents as possible. This will enable KLJ to have the clearest picture of what's happening now, and what the residents of Richland County would like to see in the future.

The community launch meeting will take place Tuesday, Dec. 10, at the Richland County Extension building, from 5:00-6:30 p.m. with refreshments served.

Then a series of pop-up meetings will be held around the county on Dec. 11 and 12.

This is Richland County's opportunity to have your voices heard, and your priorities identified. You may participate in any or all of the meetings, or simply take the 10-question survey online at your convenience. Simply scan the QR Code and complete the survey.

All information is gathered via Survey Monkey, and results will be compiled, formatted and shared with the community.

Thank you for helping REDC determine the best pathway forward for all of Richland County.
