The Great String Showdown is a thrilling dueling string act led by Greg Byers and Mike Lauer. Join us at the event center for a melodic journey spanning multiple decades and genres. From the groovy tunes of the '60s to today's chart toppers. Their repertoire guarantees the audience an unforgettable experience. Greg is a master on the cello and Mike's guitar work creates a foundation for their vocal harmonies. This is more than a performance. It is an interactive experience that will keep all entertained. The duo will take requests, do live karaoke, and truly tailor the experience to the audience. This is a humor-infused spectacle that promises to thoroughly entertain audiences of all ages and keep them engaged and amused. They are described as professional as well as wildly entertaining.
Doors will open at 5 p.m., with a plated prime rib dinner served at 6 p.m., by chef LeRoy Strasheim. There are limited tickets available this year, so be sure to secure your spot for this delightful evening of food, cocktails, and community.
