The Fairview Warriors kept their winning streak going as they dismantled the Choteau Bulldogs in the quarter-finals Saturday, Nov. 9 at Starr Field.
Wyatt McPherson took the second play from scrimmage 57 yards for a touchdown to get the scoring started early. Tyler Loan ran a 30-yard touchdown and followed that up with 2 touchdown passes to Deacon Gackle one from 40 yards and the other from 41 yards. He then scampered to the end zone from his own 2-yard line resulting in a 78-yard touchdown. The Warriors capped off their scoring in the first half with a 35-yard touchdown pass from Loan to Troy Karst making the halftime score 41-0 in favor of the Warriors.
After a defensive stop to start the second half, McPherson once again found room as he ran for a 60-yard touchdown stretching the score to 48-0. Gavin Callendar intercepted a pass in the end zone to secure the shutout and the JV squad closed out the game.
The Warriors play Scobey in a semi-final rematch of a conference matchup that saw the Warriors win 28-20. Game starts at 1 p.m. at Starr Field on Saturday, Nov. 16.
