Train rides, live reindeer, Santa and of course, those fabulous fireworks! They're all set for Saturday, Nov. 23 at Sundheim Park, Fairview.
"It's been a family tradition since the beginning almost 15 years ago, to have this special experience in the park with our bridge as the backdrop," explained Fairview Chamber of Commerce President Ray Trumpower. "Whether the kids get to play in the leaves or the snow, they love the train rides, the reindeer and a visit with Santa, and everyone, always, enjoys the fireworks. So plan to join us there and get in the Christmas spirit."
The festivities start at 4 p.m., with train rides and live reindeer until 7 p.m. Who knows when the jolly red man himself will show up, but we know he'll be around to hear kids' wish lists; be sure to bring your camera!
Concessions will be available, served up by the local baseball kids for a free will offering,
The fantastic fireworks show on the historic Fairview bridge starts at 7 p.m.
The Fairview Chamber of Commerce and Friends of the Fairview Bridge extend a heartfelt thank you to all those who have donated in any way to make this "kickoff to the season" event possible.
