The Fairview Warriors took care of business on Saturday, Nov. 2 afternoon in the opening round of the 8-man playoffs at Sheridan.
The top-ranked Warriors sprinted to a 28-7 first quarter lead and extended that lead to 57-14 at half-time. The final score ended up at 70-21.
The Warriors put up some eye-popping rushing stats in this game. Wyatt McPherson rushed 9 times for 202 yards and 4 touchdowns. He also added 3 2-point conversions and was 2-3 on PAT kicks. Troy Karst rushed 7 times for 194 yards and 2 TDs while Deacon Gackle, filling in for an ill Tyler Loan at QB, rushed 7 times for 123 yards and 4 TDs. Fairview ran 32 plays for 530 yards and 10 TDs. The Warriors host the Choteau Bulldogs at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov 9, at Starr Field, Fairivew.
