Do Not Be Deceived

My main concern is regarding CI 128. This is worded in such a way that it sounds so concerning about women and their health and reproductive rights. It is attempting to change the Montana Constitution to forever state that Abortion is OK with absolutely NO limits. Also, there cannot be any charges brought against anyone for any reason for doing the abortion-no matter what the outcome may be.

It also allows minors to get abortions without their parents even knowing anything about it.

We absolutely do NOT want ANY of that in our Montana Constitution!! They can already get abortions in Montana—sorry to say!! Abortion has been brought before the courts only to fail for one reason or another. Sometimes being vetoed-President Clinton vetoed abortion bills twice--that had passed the Senate and the House! Other times, because of the wording or the failure to state an exception for the health of the mother, it gets rejected. Even that exception—for the health of the mother—can be a loophole because they stretch it include emotional, familial, age, etc. Wording is very important, and we need to pay close attention to the wording of all issues.

Abortions are not just taking a pill and it’s over, either? Some are horrific. (You can do research on this as well) Have you heard of “Partial Birth Abortion”, PBA? A Physician, Martin Haskell called it “dilation & extraction” or D & X. It involved dilating the cervix then pulling the fetus out until only the head remained. Using a sharp instrument the head was then punctured, and the skull crushed or removed its brains by suction. Why use this method? Because later in pregnancy—when dismembering (pulling apart) a baby becomes difficult due to the child’s stronger bones and ligaments, then D & X is necessary. We need to face it—Abortion Kills.

Personally, I believe that life begins with conception and that is a baby that is as entitled to Life-Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness as the mother is. Any elimination of that baby is murder and should not be allowed—since when is murder ok and have no consequences? However, having said that, if you have ever had an abortion, there is forgiveness. When we repent and ask God’s forgiveness, He is a God of forgiveness, and His mercies are new every morning!! What I have said is not against the person it is against abortion.

A much better solution is to give up the baby for adoption! And that is where things need to change to make adoptions easier and cheaper.

Please vote NO on CI 128. In fact, I have been told to vote “no” on all the ballot issues.

Another thought—I certainly hope you are in the know enough to not pay any attention to all the outright lies that we are being hit with in all the advertisements! It ought to be against the law but apparently it isn’t!!

Please realize that voting is not only a privilege, but also our duty as American citizens. The election this year is the most important of our lifetime. Be sure to be committed to vote and get all your family and friends to also vote and may I say vote with patriotism and righteous values
