Pub Night At The MonDak Heritage Center, Oct. 25!

Tickets are now on sale at the MonDak Heritage Center for Pub Night at the MonDak on Friday, Oct. 25! Pub Night will be a fun filled evening of live music, seasonal beer tasting, food, and chances to win beer growlers, art, and gift shop items in our Pub Night games of ax throwing, plinko, ring toss, shuffle board, & more! As always for the non-beer drinkers, there will be wine and punch available. Doors open at 6:30 with the entertainment scheduled to commence at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25.

Pub Night is the annual combined fundraising event, for the Northeastern Arts Network and the MonDak Heritage Center. Proceeds from this event support live music, exhibits, programs, and collections preservation at the MonDak Heritage Center and enable the Northeastern Arts Network to bring music and educational programs to area schools. Invest in the arts and your local community!

Entertainment for this year's event will be "The Lucky Valentines". The "Lucky Valentines" have written upward of 80 songs, and use a mix of folk melodic sensibilities, tight harmonies, and whole lotta love to make sad things beautiful. Their sound could be bottled up as "Bruce Springsteen and Patty Griffin meet Shovel and Rope in a Gypsy Junkshop". He sometimes uses a third hand suitcase as a kick drum and a rotary phone from her father's shop as a mic. She blends classical violin with raging folk passion. He channels John Prine and Hank Williams. They have been featured on MTPR's Musician Spotlight, at Austin's iconic Hole in the Wall Café, the Red Ants Pants Music Festival, and were featured on 11th and Grant with Erik Funk. TLV blends homespun DIY folk and country sounds with fresh sonic energy; infused with cold heartache, electric wonder, razor sadness and fiery joy, their music is made to be played on repeat.

The MonDak Heritage Center is located at 120 3rd Ave SE in Sidney and is open Tuesday – Friday 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday 1-4 p.m.
