Eight members of the Sidney Tendo Tae Kwon Do School traveled to Williston on Saturday, Oct. 12 to participate in the 30th Williston Can-Am Tae Kwon Do tournament.
Schools from Williston, Sidney, Billings and Regina, Canada were present.
Events in forms, team forms, board breaking and sparing were held.
Competitors from Sidney and their results are as follows:
Kingston Ogbonna, a 6 yr. old white belt placed 3rd in forms and 3rd in sparring.
Charles Anthony, a 11 yr. old white belt placed 3rd in forms, and 3rd in board breaking, and 3rd in sparring.
Zane Perrault, a 7 yr. old yellow belt placed 3rd in forms and 3rd in sparring.
Beck Roirdan, a 7 yr. old orange belt placed 2nd in forms and 3rd in sparring.
Colton Roth, a 9 yr. old orange belt placed 3rd in forms and 3rd in board breaking.
Miles Sturgis, a 10 yr. old purple belt placed 3rd in forms, 2nd in board breaking and 1st in sparring.
Mercy Long, a 8 yr. old purple belt placed 3rd in forms, 1st in board breaking and 3rd in sparring.
Trey Turnbull, a 8 yr. old green belt placed 2nd in forms, 3rd in board breaking and 3rd in sparring.
All the members of the Sidney School participated in a team forms event under the name the "Masked Fighters" and received 3rd place as a team.
