Sidney Eagle Golf Teams Travel To Miles City, Billings & Laurel Sept. 16-20

The Sidney High School golf team began their week with the junior varsity team traveling to Miles City for the Miles City JV Invitational on Monday, Sept. 16.

This nine-hole event consisting of 44 boys and 16 girls had five schools participating: Sidney, Glendive, Lockwood, Billings Central, and Miles City.

There was no team scoring. Complete individual results were:

On Thursday, Sept. 19, the varsity team traveled to Billings to participate in the Billings Central Invite at the Peter Yegan Golf Club.

Both boys and girls placed third in the team event. The boys shot their season best with a 317. Brady Collins led the Eagle boys shooting a 77 which tied him for seventh place in the individual standings. The girls had three players in the top 15. Their team score was 393 and it was led by Izzy Baisch and McKenna Tiesen who both tied for 11th shooting a 93. Mercedes Lamb tied for 15th shooting a 96.

The varsity golf team traveled to Laurel Friday, Sept. 20, for the Laurel High School Invitational. The boys took third as a team led by Brady Collins who shot an 80 and the girls took second as a team led by Izzy Baisch who shot a 90.
