Fairview Warriors Top Broadus Hawks 61-0 At Homecoming Friday

Homecoming in Fairview was another successful game on the gridiron. The Warriors jumped out to an early lead and didn't look back.

The first quarter score was 34-0 and expanded to 54-0 at halftime. After another quick score in the third quarter making the score 61-0, the JV unit finished the game.

Tyler Loan was 9-10 passing for 220 yards and 3 touchdowns while adding 93 yards on the ground and two more touchdowns on two carries. He also intercepted two passes, returning one for a touchdown. Add to that, seven PAT kicks and the Homecoming King had a night to remember! Wyatt McPherson had a rushing and receiving touchdown, Troy Karst had a rushing touchdown, Keegan Skogas and Ryan Lustig each had a receiving touchdown and Lustig took the opening kickoff 68 yards for a touchdown.

The Warrior defense was once again very stout keeping the Hawks out of the end zone. The varsity unit has only given up 18 points in four games. Next week, the Warriors travel to Plentywood.

In volleyball action Fairview went 3 for 3 Over MonDak Thunder Saturday, Sept. 21. 25-18, 25-14, 25-8.
