On Sept. 25 at approximately 10 a.m. CT a 2007 Peterbilt truck driven by a 29-year-old male, Williston, ND, was northbound on 130th Rd NW just north of the intersection of 48th St NW. The Peterbilt drove off the roadway right and steered left in attempt to correct back onto the road. The Peterbilt rolled multiple times and came to rest on its top. The driver sustained serious, life-threatening injuries and was transported CHI Williston by Williston Ambulance Services. The driver was later flown to Trinity Health in Minot where he succumbed to his injuries.
The agencies who responded to the crash were North Dakota Highway Patrol, Williams County Sheriff's Office, Williston Ambulance Service, Williston Fire Department, Williston Rural Fire Department.
At the time of the crash the road conditions were good and dry and the weather was clear.
The crash remains under investigation by the NDHP. Release of the name is pending next of kin notification.
