On Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 26-27, the Sidney Eagle golf team participated in the Billings invitational meet.
After day one, the Eagle boys had a team score of 332. Tanner Tiesen shot 78 to lead the boys' squad. The Eagle girls shot a team score of 385. Izzy Baisch shot a career best of 88 to lead the girls.
After Tuesday's scores were in, the Eagle girls team shot a season best of 379 and earned sixth place. Senior player, Mercedes Lamb, led the team by shooting an 87. Placing in the top 20 for the girls was Izzy Baisch who finished in a tie for 18th.
The Eagle boys shot a team score of 336 and placed ninth overall. Junior, Brady Collins, shot a 74 which moved him into a top 20 finish with a tie for 16th.
On Friday, Aug. 30, the team traveled to Miles City.
