At 3:49 p.m. CDT on Sunday, August 25, the McKenzie County Sheriff’s Department received a call from a family boating on the Yellowstone River regarding a body hanging from the Fairview Bridge. Detective Brandon Kindred said their office determined that the incident was a suicide and there is no foul play suspected. Next of kin have been notified. The office is not releasing the name of the victim out of respect for the family but said it was a 44 year old male, Mexican native who was most recently a Colorado resident.
