Books on Broadway, Williston, is excited and proud to announce that Katie Ledecky, the most decorated female swimmer in the world, and nine-time Olympic Gold medalist, will be signing copies of her book, "Just Add Water, My Swimming Life" from 1-4 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 31 at the James Memorial Arts Center/Old library, 621 1st Ave. W., Williston. The candid and inspiring memoir promises a great read for young and old alike.
Books on Broadway owner Chuck Wilder explained that although Ledecky lives in Bethesda, MD, her grandmother Kathleen Hagan lives in Williston and Ledecky has been coming to the store since she was a toddler. "She really likes the store and we're honored that she wants to kick off her book signing tour here," he said.
Due to space considerations, the signing will be held at the James Memorial Arts Center, to allow as many people as possible to meet the swimmer/author.
