The 2024 Weed Control and Crop Safety event ”(Weeds Day” will open at the Williston Research Extension Center, 14120 HWY 2, Williston, Monday July 22, starting at 8:30 a.m. Attendees will be greeted with donuts and coffee, followed by an update on weed control from Dr. Brian Jenks at 9 a.m.
From 9:30-11 a.m., participants will have the opportunity for a self-guided tour of the weed trials. The event will conclude with a provided lunch at 11:30 a.m.
2024 is shaping up to be an exciting year for crop safety and weed control. Researchers are currently conducting experiments to test the efficacy of both new and existing weed control tools.
