The McKenzie County Sheriff’s Department has confirmed that 68-year-old Valentine Ene, AZ, died several days after receiving injuries during an assault on June 1, 2024.
Detective Brandon Kindred stated that the incident took place on private property on the North Dakota side of 32nd St. NW, Fairview.
He said the second individual involved has been identified but no arrests have been made.
The investigation is on-going.
