Area 4th Of July Activities Promise Fun For Everyone

Lambert, MT

The festivities in Lambert kick off at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 3 with a Fun Run/Walk for all ages (I or 2 miles) at the Sports Complex, followed by the Street Dance beginning at 8 p.m. with music by Midlife Crisis. The Lion’s Den, CQ Bar/Grill and vendors will be open.

Thursday, July 4th gets off to an early start with the wake-up call at 5 a.m. and a Praise non-denominational church service at the Lambert Senior Center at 9:30 a.m. Line up your entries at 10:30 a.m. at Nortana as the crowd enjoys the music of Troy Holzworth. Area kids will show off their decorating skills during the bike parade at 10:50 a.m.

A military flyover sponsored by Bryan Prevost is tentatively planned for 11 a.m. along with the singing of the National Anthem and the parade down Main Street.

The Lambert Fire Department will serve up its usual delicious BBQ beef/pork meal at noon on Main Street. By 12:30 p.m., the inflatables and water slide will be ready for action in the park, sponsored by local donors. A Ping Pong Ball Drop, sponsored by Bryan Prevost and Blue Rock will also take place at that time.

If you’re craving dessert and some shade, head to the Lambert Senior Center at 1 p.m. for pie and goodies plus music by Garrett Cayer and Crew.

At 2 p.m., take your pick of the cornhole tournament west of the CQ, or bingo in the back room of the CQ. The games continue with adult softball by the north discus ring at the Sports Complex beginning at 6 p.m.

The main attraction (fireworks) will begin at dusk, sponsored by the Lambert Fire Department.

The Lion’s Den (serving nachos) and the CQ Bar/Grill will be open all day along with other food and drink vendors on Main Street.

Vernon’s DJ and Karaoke will be playing outside the CQ in the evening.

As always, the Lambert community is excited about this year’s celebration and hopes to see everyone there!

Sidney, MT

The Sidney Area Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture will blast off Fireworks at the Sidney Country Club at dusk, approximately 10 p.m.

Arnegard, ND

Arnegard continues its tradition of hosting an all-day 4th of July event with fun, food and fireworks. All times are Central Daylight.

Start the day with the 5K run/walk. Registration begins at 8 a.m. at Nelson Park with the race starting at 9 a.m.

Registration for the parade takes place from 9-10:45 a.m. at the fire station with the parade beginning at 11 a.m.

Immediately after the parade, head into the park for a delicious, good will offering, BBQ lunch. The Military Appreciation will be held at 1 p.m. followed by the Tractor Pull at 1:30. Be sure to check out all the vendors as well.

Fireworks will finish off the day at 10 p.m. at the ball diamonds.

Williston, ND

Josey & The Whalers will be performing at Blacktail Dam from 6:30-9:30 p.m. CDT on July 4th, as part of the Williams County Summer Concert Series. Throughout the summer, each concert is being held at a different campground in Williams County. There are bathroom facilities at each site. Bring your own seating and refreshments.
