The 7th Annual Sidney Lions Club Family Fun Trap Shoot will be held Sunday, June 30, shooting begins at 11 a.m. Money raised will assist the Sidney Lions Club with community projects such as sight and hearing support, student scholarships and youth programs.
The Sidney Trap Club is located at 12598, Hwy. 16 N. a quarter mile north of Sidney on the road to Culbertson. Registration is $35 and will take place from 8-10:30 a.m. A practice round costs $10 each and will be from 9-10:40 a.m. There will be free beginner instruction sponsored by Pheasants Forever for ages 8 and up. Guns, ammo, and clays will be provided. The adult first place shooter will win $500, second will get $300, and third will get $200. The youth prizes will be $100, $75, and $50. Participation in two rounds is guaranteed. There will be a raffle and Dutch auction on site. Bring your own gun, ammo, and lawn chair. 4-H concessions will be available. There will be an Annie Oakley shoot following the regular competition.
