Teresa Ann Hedegaard, 60, Kent, WA

Teresa Ann Hedegaard (60) of Kent, WA, died on May 25, 2024, of natural causes.

Teresa was born December 30, 1963, in Sidney, MT, the fourth child and only daughter of Jim and Irene (Schwenke) Hedegaard. Teresa grew up in Savage, MT, and graduated from Savage High School in 1982. She attended Eastern Montana College, graduating in 1989. Teresa spent most of her adult life in Billings, until she moved to Kent, WA, in 2017.

Teresa had an avid interest in history, and she enjoyed true crime dramas. In her younger years, she was involved in theatre and acting. Teresa persevered through numerous health issues throughout her life. Her dog, Baxter, was her faithful companion for the past 12 years.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, James Patrick; and a sister-in-law, Diana Hedegaard. She is survived by her brothers, Scott (Barbara) of Missoula, MT; Gary (Teri) of Crescent Valley, NV; Tom (Nancy) of Sidney, MT; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Graveside service will be held in August at the Riverview Cemetery in Savage.
