2024 Sidney Eagle Wrestling Camps Set For June 10-15

Sidney High School Wrestling Coach Guy Melby has assembled his 37th Annual Eagle Wrestling Camps for June 10-15 for wrestlers from beginners through 12th grade.

Wrestlers will train under Melby, who is a HSACA National Coach of the Year; 13x MT Coach of the Year; Western MT College Hall of Fame; AAU Coaches Hall of Fame and Sidney Eagle Wrestling Coach for 38 years and winning 13 championships during his career.

Assisting Melby will be Troy and Terry Steiner, originally from Bismarck, ND. Troy is a 4x All American at Iowa; NCAA Champion; 30 years of coaching; and MN Olympic Training Center head coach. Terry is also a NCAA Champion; 3x All American; U.S. Women's Olympics head coach and U.S. National Coach for USA Wrestling. There will also be sessions by the University of Mary, Bismarck, and Providence of Great Falls.

The Little Guy Camp will be held June 10-12 for beginners through 6th grade. Technique Camp is from June 12-14 for grades 6-12 more advanced wrestlers. The Intensive Camp is from June 10-15 and is a week of intensive training and a great opportunity to train at an camp with teams going to the High School Nationals in Florida. There will also be a University of Minnesota Camp, June 16-28 and the National Duals in Fort Lauderdale, FL, June 21-26.

On Friday, June 14, the Sidney duals are scheduled at Sidney High School gymnasium, at 6 p.m.
