Bowfishing enthusiasts can test their skills and win big dollars in the Big 30 Octane Outdoors Bowfishing Tournament Saturday, June 1. Fish Trenton Lake, Lake Sakakawea, the Little Muddy River, the Yellowstone River, or the Missouri River and its tributaries.
The event starts with registration from 7-7:50 a.m. followed by a rules meeting at 7:50 and blast off at 8 a.m. CDT.
Weigh-ins are at 5 p.m., all at Octane Outdoors, 1008 E. Broadway, Williston. There is a 100 pound deduction for every minute past the 5 p.m. weigh-in time.
Cost to enter is $100 per one to three man team. Payout is 45% for first place, 30% for second, 15% for third and a 10% Freedom on the Water prize.
The rules are as follows: Boats must be present at sign-in and weigh-in; Big 30 format, maximum of 20 Buffalo, ND catfish can be weighed; All North Dakota Game & Fish rules must be followed.
