Savage Takes Second Place At Divisional Meet

The Savage Warriors accounted for 84.5 points to take second place in the girls' division during the Eastern C divisional track meet held in Wolf Point on Thursday.

Scobey's girls' topped the field with 118 points. Saco placed third with 83 points.

In the boys' division, Lustre Christian earned top honors with 97 points followed by Plentywood with 81 and Scobey with 80. Savage took ninth place with 28 points.

Brooke Reuter was a triple winner for Savage's girls. The senior finished first in the 100 at 12.56 seconds, first in the 200 at 25.26 and first in the 400 at 57.83. Her times in the 200 and 400 were new divisional records.

Cambry Conradsen placed second in the 100 at 12.75, second in the 200 at 25.94 and fourth in the 400 at 1:00.93.

Karley McPherson earned second place in the discus with a mark of 93-8.

Mylee Reuter took second in the pole vault by clearing 9-0. The freshman finished fifth in the 800 at 2:34.32 and fifth in the 1600 at 6:20.15.

B. Reuter took third in the long jump at 16-10 and fourth in the triple jump at 33-7.

Conradsen was sixth in the long jump at 15-9 and sixth in the triple jump at 33-1.

Miley Pilgeram threw a best of 108-0 for sixth place in the javelin.

The 1600-meter relay team featuring Matilda Verhasselt, KD Lyons, McPherson and M. Reuter finished in fifth place at 4:36.69.

Zane Pilgeram qualified for state in three events for Savage's boys. The junior earned second in the high jump by clearing 6-0, fourth in the long jump at 19-4 and fifth in the triple jump at 39-1.

Sayer Erickson cleared 12-0 to place second in the pole vault

Connor Lyons had a mark of 40-7 to earn third place in the shot put.

Cade Tombre finished sixth in the 400 with a time of 54.08 seconds.

The 1600-meter relay team consisting of Erickson, Jaeger Tombre, Jack DaBill and Pilgeram placed sixth at 3:58.49.
