The Fairview Warriors scored 116 points in each division to place second at the District 2B track meet in Wolf Point on Saturday. Glasgow took first in both the boys' and girls' divisions.
Earning first for Fairview's boys were Jaxon Vitt with a time of 11.72 seconds in the 100, Jeff Tjelde with a time of 53.05 seconds in the 400 and Landen Thompson with a best of 44-2 in the shot put.
The 400-meter relay team of Curt Rice, Ryan Lustig, Troy Karst and Tyler Loan finished first with a time of 45.41 seconds. The 1600-meter relay team of Karst, Loan, Lustig and Tjelde took first at 3:42.50.
Placing second were Rice at 44.39 in the 300-meter hurdles and Vitt with a mark of 19-4 in the long jump.
Deacon Gackle had a mark of 135-7 for third place in the discus. Also taking third were Rice at 17.82 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles and Loan with a time of 54.07 seconds in the 400 and 11.86 in the 100 and Karst with a time of 23.87 seconds in the 200.
Placing fourth were Lustig at 56.76 in the 400, Loan at 23.94 in the 200 and Brock Schlothauer at 147-2 in the javelin.
Taking fifth were Jaden Murphy by clearing 5-0 in the high jump, Karst at 11.87 in the 100 and Grant Knapp at 5:34.38 in the 1600. Placing sixth were Tjelde at 24.47 in the 200, Schlothauer at 58.24 in the 400 and Knapp by clearing 8-0 in the pole vault.
Averi Riedel was a triple-winner for Fairview's girls. The freshman finished first in the 100 at 13.15 seconds, first in the 200 at 27.74 and first in the 400 at 1:02.79.
Kambre Kloker cleared 10-6 for first place in the pole vault. The height ties a school record. The junior placed second in the long jump at 15-5.
The 400-meter relay team of Riedel, Carly Buxbaum, Kynlee Vitt and Kallee Hopes finished first with a time of 52.05 seconds. The 1600-meter relay team of Kloker, Brooklyn Anderson, Buxbaum and Vitt took second at 4:39.83.
Hopes placed second in the shot put at 34-2 and javelin at 97-0. She finished second in the 400 at 1:02.99 and fourth in the 200 at 28.51 seconds.
Buxbaum placed second in the 100 at 13.27 and third in the 200 at 28.27 seconds.
Brookyln Anderson took fifth in the 800 at 2:51.90 and sixth in the 1600 at 6:25.02. Brailey Anderson was sixth in the 3200 at 14:41.25.
Vitt cleared 4-6 for fourth place in the high jump.
The divisional meet is this Friday and Saturday in Glasgow.
