Sharbonos Honored For Service To Fairview Food Bank

Rick and LuAnn Sharbono were honored at Zion Lutheran Church on Sunday, May 5, for their 35 years volunteering for the Fairview Food Bank.

Rick started volunteering in 1989 as a Zion council member, and brought LuAnn and their two children Danny and Marci along for the ride. They have cheerfully served thousands of needy people over the years but the time has come for their retirement from the job.

The Fairview Food Bank is now in the capable hands of Jodi McPherson, Zion Lutheran Church secretary, who was blessed by Pastor Timothy O'Shields on Sunday as well.

The Food Bank is located at Zion and is open Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Contact the church at 406-742-5523 or the Richland County Food Bank at 406-433-8142. Both food and monetary donations are always welcome. Food may be taken to Zion, monetary donations may be made at Merchants Bank in Fairview.

Thank you Rick and LuAnn for your dedication all these years!
