Kent Pelton Park in Watford City is the place to be Thursday evenings from 5 to 8:30 p.m. CDT May 23, through June 27, as Long X Posse hosts Dogs on the Deck. Multiple local non-profits benefit from this annual fundraiser while attendees enjoy a night of family fun showcasing local bands and artists.
Start off with a foot-long beef hot dog with all the trimmings, chips, a cookie and a bottle of water for only $5. Kids of all ages will find plenty of activities, games and crafts at the TR Energy Center. Stop by the beer garden, featuring new brews each week from Watford City’s own Stonehome Breweries. Your original beer cup is $5 with refills only $3.
Then relax and enjoy the music, which begins at 5:30 p.m., each evening. The schedule for this season is Brandon Foster, May 23; Anselmo Hernandez, May 30; Lane Sandstrom, June 6; Mick Soiseth, June 13; Tool & Kari, June 20, and Josey & The Whalers, June 27.
