Sidney scored 46.5 points in the boys’ division for sixth place and 11 points in the girls’ division during track action in Watford City on Saturday.
Sidney’s Chace Waters earned first place in the shot put with a mark of 52-9.
Ryan Unruh finished second in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 18.18 seconds. Nathan Carlsen took fifth in the race at 20.08 seconds. Kade Samuelson placed fourth in the discus with a best of 119-3. Joseph Yadon earned fourth in the 100 with a time of 11.56 seconds. Yadon took fifth in the long jump at 19-9.
Moran Reid cleared 10-6 for sixth place in the pole vault. Aren Larson took seventh in the 100 at 11.71 seconds. Parker Verhasselt was seventh in the 110-meter hurdles at 20.21 and Unruh was seventh in the 300-meter hurdles at 45.59 seconds.
Myah Hughes finished fifth in the girls’ 100 with a time of 13.37 seconds.
Kylie Schoepp earned sixth in the shot put with a best of 27-10.
Kinley Wieland placed seventh in the 100-meter hurdles at 19.57 seconds. Maddie Schieber took seventh in the triple jump at 29-7 and Lily Tranquill was seventh in the long jump at 15-6. Taking eighth was Ave’ Norby with a 98-9 in the discus. She was ninth in the javelin at 81-9.
