Area Teams Score Well At Richey/Lambert Meet

Savage and Fairview were each near the top of the team standings during the Richey/Lambert track meet held in Lambert on Thursday.

Savage's girls tied with Saco on top of the team standings with 69 points each. Plentywood was third with 66 points while Richey/Lambert placed fourth with 57.5 points. Fairview took sixth with 53 points.

In the boys' division, Plentywood won with 79 points while Fairview earned second with 69 points. Savage was fourth with 45 points. Richey/Lambert's boys scored seven points.

Sprinters Brooke Reuter and Cambry Conradsen led the way for Savage's girls. Reuter finished first in the 100 at 12.49 seconds and Conradsen took second at 12.56 seconds. In the 200, Conradsen earned first at 25.53 and Reuter placed second at 26.01.

The 1600-meter relay team featuring Matilda Verhasselt, Mylee Reuter, Conradsen and B. Reuter finished first with a time of 4:21.30.

M. Reuter earned first in the 3200-meter run at 14:39.82. The freshman cleared 8-0 for second place in the pole vault and took fifth in the long jump at 14-9.

Savage's Miley Pilgeram took fifth in the javelin at 98-10. Karley McPherson earned sixth in the shot put with a best of 30-2.

In the boys' division, Savage's Zane Pilgeram took first in the long jump with a mark of 19-7 and second in the high jump by clearing 5-8. He was fifth in the 300-meter hurdles at 49.89.

Sayer Erickson cleared 11-0 for second in the pole vault and Adden Erickson cleared 7-0 for sixth place.

The boys' 1600-meter relay team of Jack DaBill, S. Erickson, Cade Tombre and Jaeger Tombre placed second with a time of 3:56.73.

Connor Lyons earned third in the shot put at 41-4. C. Tombre took fifth in the javelin at 129-10.

First-place performances for Fairview's boys were Tyler Loan with a time of 23.61 seconds in the 200 and Deacon Gackle with a mark of 133-4 in the discus. The 400-meter relay team featuring Curt Rice, Troy Karst, Jaxon Vitt and Loan finished first at 46.58.

Rice placed second in the 300-meter hurdles at 47.18 seconds. Placing third were Rice in the 110-meter hurdles at 18.93, Grant Knapp in the 1600 at 5:37.70 and Ryan Lustig in the 400 at 57.90.

Landen Thompson took fourth in the shot put at 40-9. Loan finished fourth in the 100 at 11.6. Jaden Murphy placed fourth in the triple jump at 31-2.

Keegan Skogas took sixth in the shot put at 40-3. Karst was sixth in the 400 at 58.31.

In the girls' division, Fairview's Kambre Kloker cleared 9-6 for first in the pole vault and Kallee Hopes had a best of 102-0 for top honors in the discus. Hopes placed second in the shot put at 33-0.

The 1600-meter relay team of Averi Riedel, Kynlee Vitt, Brooklyn Anderson and Hopes finished second at 4:41.59.

Brooklyn Anderson earned second in the 800 at 2:53.36 and third in the 1600 at 6:39.00. Riedel took fifth in the 1600 at 6:45.41. Karlee Nay was sixth in the 300-meter hurdles at 1:03.07.

Richey/Lambert's girls were led by Jolee Klempel. The freshman earned first in the 100-meter hurdles at 15.68 seconds and the shot put at 35-5.

The 400-meter relay team featuring Kally Strom, Brooke Lien, Brynne Hill and Klempel finished first at 54.09 seconds.

Hill took third in the long jump at 15-1 and fourth in the triple jump at 33-4. Klempel cleared 5-0 for third place in the high jump. Klempel was fourth in the 200 at 27.68.

Jade Boese-Robbins was fourth in the 800 at 2:56.89. Strom placed fifth in the 100 at 13.51 and fifth in the 200 at 27.9.

For Richey/Lambert's boys, Tanner Goosen had a mark of 31-2 for third place in the triple jump.

William Head took sixth in the 800 at 2:28.40
