Dale Harry Dombrosky was born Aug. 8, 1939, to Harry and Emma (Sorensen) Dombrosky in Sidney, MT. He attended school in Sidney and graduated from Sidney Senior High School in 1957. After graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Hawaii. He was honorably discharged in October of 1960 and returned to Sidney to join his dad in his plumbing business as a journeyman plumber.

On April 15, 1962, Dale was united in marriage to Barbara Henderson and they made their home in Sidney. Dale earned his master plumbers license in 1971 and started his own plumbing business, Dale's Plumbing & Repair, Inc., which he operated for 38 years. Dale and Barb were blessed with three daughters: Rhonda in 1964, Tracy in 1966, and Sheri in 1971. Dale worked hard and was a great provider, working several different jobs at a time as necessary. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends at the cabin at Rock Creek, was a private pilot, a volunteer fireman and an avid woodworker. He was a member of Ebenezer Congregational Church and served as a trustee and a sometimes choir member.

Dale retired and sold his business in 2009 after the onset of heart issues. After retirement, Dale was forced to slow down. He spent many hours on his lawn mower and even more hours in his wood shop. Many people, friends and strangers, in Sidney and across the country, have wooden mementos such as key chains, letter openers, and diamond willow walking sticks from Dale.

As his health declined, he stayed closer to home and often commented that he missed visiting with his coffee buddies. Dale entered Sidney Health Center on April 14, 2024, and passed away peacefully on April 22, 2024.

He is proceeded in death by his parents Harry and Emma; a sister, Peggy Johnston; brother-in-law Gary Steen; nephew Craig Steen; in-laws Sherill and Vera Henderson; and grandson-in-law Jake Johnson.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barb, Sidney; daughters Rhonda (Mike) Harris, Rockford, MI, Tracy (David) Garland, Sidney, and Sheri Williams, Sidney; grandchildren Afton (Sam) Bisson, Abby Johnson, Alex (Megan) Harris, Chelsea (Joshua) Fryling, Sheridan (Parker) Dean, and Amelia Williams; great-grandchildren Griffin, Paxton and Taytum Bisson, Adeline, Ethan, and Ezra Johnson, and Linden Harris; sister Audrey Steen; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Dale was a loving husband, father, grandpa, great grandpa, and friend. He will be deeply missed.
