School Issues Statement

Alexander School officials report that an individual has been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation regarding an incident on April 15.

According to school officials, an incident occurred within one classroom where students used inappropriate conduct. There appears to have been a lack of adequate adult supervision at that time.

There wasn’t any ongoing threat to safety, based on response actions by the school and law enforcement.

The school statement reads, “The district considers the safety of staff and students to be our utmost priority. We will continue to work hard to ensure a safe environment exists and wish to work with the community to make Alexander School better together.”
