Sidney's softball squad put up a good fight, but the Eagles lost at home against conference foe Glendive, 14-6, on April 16.
The pitching of junior Amiya Steinbeisser kept Sidney close as the Eagles trailed by only a 3-0 margin after three innings of play.

Sidney's Aiyana Kirn singled and Steinbeisser reached on an error to open the bottom of the fourth. Amaiya Kirn then connected for a single to bring home her younger sister. Steinbeisser scored on a double-steal play for a 7-2 game.
Lambert student Keira Rains, a junior, belted a three-run homer to pull the Eagles to 7-5.
