The Watford City Area Concert Association wraps up its 2023-2024 Concert Series Season with Brassfire, on Monday, May 6. This virtuosic trio will take the stage of Watford City High School Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m.
Brassfire is led by world-renowned trumpeter Jens Lindemann. Jens is a former member of the famed Canadian Brass and has soloed with many of the world’s greatest orchestras. Brassfire features the trumpet with piano and bass, while honoring the music of trumpet greats: Louis Armstrong, Herb Alpert, and Doc Severinsen. Classically trained at the renowned Juilliard School in New York and McGill University in Montreal, Jens’ career includes international performances in both classical and jazz music.
The Watford City Area Concert Series is a membership driven organization, with individual memberships starting at $50.
A 2023-24 membership grants access to this season finale concert as well as reciprocity with concert series lineups in Williston, Dickinson, Crosby and Hazen.
If you don’t have a membership, tickets are available at $30 for adults and all youth under 18 are free.
Tickets can be purchased at http://www.longxarts.com or at the door and handicap parking and access is available on the north entrance of the building
Memberships for the 2024-2025 Concert Series, which will kick off on Oct. 11, with the Comedy Café hosted by Bakken Oil Rush and Long X Arts Foundation will also be available at the door that evening.
The concerts for next season continue with Rhapsody and the Blues on Oct. 24, Letters from Home, Feb. 28, 2025, Paolo Schianchi, March 23, 2025, and Street Corner Symphony on May 11, 2025.
