WILLISTON – Mark your calendars for the Fourth Annual Community Egg Hunt, scheduled to take place on Wednesday, March 27, inside the Williston Community Library.
The Community Egg Hunt will be divided into two-time slots, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and from 4 -6 p.m. This event is free and open to all ages.
Andrea Placher, Williston, Community Library director, expressed her excitement about hosting the fourth annual Community Egg Hunt and stated that the mission of any event they host is to promote literacy in the community, the library’s various resources, and of course, a love of reading.
“This event is special because it allows us to collaborate with many community organizations to raise awareness about the library and our missions,” Placher said. “The library is thrilled to see friends and families coming together, interacting with each other, and having fun!”
Attendees will receive a bag to fill with eggs, which can be exchanged for a free book. In addition to the traditional egg hunt, there will be a chance to meet the Bunny and take photos. Community agencies will be scattered throughout the library with goodies and handouts, and there will also be golden eggs every hour, which can be exchanged for local business gift cards!
