A benefit for Jazzmaine Smith and her baby, Frankie, will be held on Saturday, March 9, at 3 p.m. at the Sidney Elks Lodge, 123 3rd St. SW.
A silent auction, will be held from 3-6:30 p.m. with a dinner of chili and cinnamon rolls starting at 4 p.m. for a free will donation. The live auction will start at 7 p.m.
Last year, shortly after having Baby Frankie, Jazzy was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.
At only 22 years old, Jazzmaine has fought long and hard but it has since become terminal.
We live in a wonderful community and they say "It Takes a Village to Raise a Child"...
Many are aware of how quickly medical costs add up and the cost of caring for a baby! Let's rally around this amazing Mom and her son and do our part in helping ease the financial burden. All donations will go toward current and final expenses.
Monetary donations can be made to the Jazzmaine Smith Benefit account at Stockman Bank. Donations for the auction can be dropped off at the Sidney Elks Lodge on March 8 or 9. Please have items in by 2:30 p.m. on March 9.
