Chili lovers! It's time to get together for some fun and some really tasty chili, all for a great cause. So far, 22 teams have registered for the 43rd annual chili cook off hosted by the Williston Basin chapter of API. The event takes place Saturday, March 23 at the Raymond Family Community Center, Williston. Doors open at 3 p.m .with chili being served at 5 p.m. CT. You must be 21 or older to attend.
According to their website, the chili cook off is one of two major fundraisers for the Williston Basin chapter. Proceeds go towards scholarships and numerous other groups and activities in the local and surrounding communities. Scholarships are available for students in the oil and gas industry as well as for members' children who are pursuing higher education.
