Richland Federal Credit Union (RFCU) is pleased to introduce Dana Jonsson as the newest member of our team. Dana will serve as an agricultural & business loan officer, bringing her wealth of experience and expertise to our organization. We are excited to welcome Dana to our team and look forward to her contributions to the credit union.
Jonsson joins RFCU following her tenure at First Community Credit Union, Crookston, MN, where she held positions as branch manager and universal lender. Previously, she served in management roles at U.S. Bank and spent over a decade as an agricultural lender at Stockman Bank, Sidney, progressing through various officer roles from 2006 to 2017. Dana holds a bachelor's degree in business management and marketing from the University of Minnesota-Crookston and is a graduate of the Dakota School of Banking. In 2023, she was honored as Volunteer of the Year at First Community Credit Union. Jonsson was raised on a farm near Grafton, ND.
Corliss Nelson, RFCU VP of Lending, expressed enthusiasm about Dana joining our team. Nelson highlighted Dana's deep understanding of our communities, local economy, and agriculture, along with her diverse background and previous work experiences, emphasizing her crucial role in shaping RFCU's future endeavors and vision.
Jonsson shared, "From my very first day at First Community Credit Union, I've embraced the cooperative movement of "people helping people" wholeheartedly. My aspiration is to extend RFCU membership to everyone. I believe RFCU's goals and ambitions will be both exciting and fulfilling. Returning to Sidney and being closer to family and lifelong friends brings me great joy."
