Luna has been located and is safe!
The Sidney Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating Luna Marie Delisle, a 12-year-old female, who is believed to have run away from home. Luna was last seen the morning of Sunday, Jan. 28 at approximately 9 a.m. in the 1100 block of 16th St. SW (near Lyndale Park). Luna is a white female, 5'10", 160 lbs., hazel eyes, with long blonde/brown hair, and has a nose ring. Luna was last seen wearing a pink sweatshirt, boot-cut blue jeans, gray sneakers, and possibly a pink colored necklace.
Luna did not show up for school, Monday, Jan. 29, and police continued the search. James Earl, formally of Badlands Search and Rescue, volunteered and was given the okay to bring his bloodhound, Daisy Mae. Buffy Marie Olson, a family friend asked that residents stay away from the area until the dog could work the area to prevent confusion.
