On Monday, Jan. 22 at approximately 1 a.m. CT, a 2014 Peterbilt truck pulling a sandbox trailer, driven by a Hosea Kleinsasse, Aberdeen, SD, was westbound on HWY. 2 near mile marker 41 when it lost control. The semi-truck entered the north ditch and rolled. The driver was pronounced deceased on scene.
At the time of the crash the roads were snowy and icy and the weather was cloudy.
The agencies who responded to the crash were North Dakota Highway Patrol, Williams County Sheriff’s Office, Ray
Ambulance, Ray Fire Department and Epping Fire Department.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
