Richland Rangers Bantams Hockey Team Go Undefeated At Bismarck Capitals Cup

The Richland Ranger Bantams traveled to Bismarck, ND this past weekend for the Capitals Cup. After five games the Bantams returned home undefeated with the championship!

Friday night, the Rangers faced Bismarck Red and defeated them 6-0.

Saturday would bring the Bantams two games. The first game would bring them a win against the Midale/Lampman Mustangs out of Estevan, Sask., with a score of 4-2. The second game would match the Rangers against Mandan Mayhem where they secured another win and ended with a score of 6-0.

On Sunday, the Bantams had another two games and another two wins. The first game the Rangers were against Bismarck White 7-0. The Rangers second game on Sunday was for the championship. The Bantams found themselves face to face once again with Mandan Mayhem. The Rangers came out on top defeating Mandan once again with a score of 3-2 and winning the championship!

The 2023-2024 Rangers Bantam team is a force to be reckoned with! The Bantams ended the weekend with a total of 26 goals and 21 assists. Goalie, Paxton Berry, faced 152 shots and an incredible 148 saves!

Next up for the Bantams are two home games. At 2 pm on Jan. 20 they will face off against Watford City Oilers B1 Bantam team and then at 9:30 am on Jan.21 they will play Jamestown. Please come out and support the Rangers.
