The James Memorial Art Center is holding a membership drive that began Dec. 1, and will conclude Feb. 29.
An anonymous donor has generously offered to match all membership fees collected within this three-month period, dollar for dollar, as a donation to the James Memorial Preservation Society.
Several tiers are available, starting at an annual student or senior membership for $25. Some of the benefits include art class discounts, monthly eNews, monthly postcards announcing new exhibits, and being an integral piece of our mission of preserving history, promoting art, and enhancing community.
The JMAC is a non-profit art center operated by the James Memorial Preservation Society in the historic original Williston Library building, which opened in February 1911. The James Memorial Preservation Society, in leasing the building from the city, assumed full financial responsibility for the maintenance and repair of the building and for exhibitions and activities held in it. Our mission is to share art and culture with the community of Williston while preserving the historic building known as The James Memorial Art Center.
