Rosa Anderson, 72, Sidney, MT

Rosa Linda (Abraham) Anderson, 72, Sidney MT, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on the morning of Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2023, in Superior, MT, at the home of her daughter, Tasha (Anderson) Dent.

Rosa was born Sept. 14, 1951, to Raymond and Phyliss Abraham near Wolf Point, MT. She was the third of 12 siblings. Rosa loved her church, Bible Baptist, Sidney, MT, her family, and her best friends, Pauly McElhenny and Linda Posivio. Rosa had a beautiful smile and loved to tell jokes and stories to everyone she met.

Rosa married Robert Anderson and they had three children; Jason, Anthony, and Tasha, whom she loved dearly. Rosa was a good and caring nurse's aid most of her life. She also worked at Sidney Sugars for a while and was working at Sidney Health Center in the housekeeping department until the surgery in 2017, which confined her to a wheelchair. After that she was at home with her kitty, did gardening at home, and always looked forward to Thursday cards with the girls. Rosa loved life and lived it to the fullest in everything she did.

Rosa is survived by one daughter, Tasha (Justin) Dent and grandson, Brendan, Superior, MT; brother, Henry Abraham, Vida, MT; and sisters Mary Abraham and Brenda Abraham, Vida, MT, Sally (Roger) Hollowell, Lewistown, MT, and Betty (Tom) Romo and Vicky (Shawn) Boysun, Wolf Point, MT. Rosa was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Jason and Tony Anderson; brothers Ken, Les, and Abe; and sisters Anna and Nancy.

Rosa has been a valued member of Bible Baptist Church since the mid-1980s and was loved by her church family. A Memorial Service will be held at Bible Baptist Church in Sidney, MT at a later date.
