Sidney Moose Lodge 856 received a bronze medallion for its "Heart of the Community" contributions, last year (May 1, 2022-April 30, 2023), at the Annual Montana Moose Association Convention in Great Falls, MT. Sidney Moose Lodge continues to receive a superior quarterly rating from Moose International. Our current goal is to receive the silver or gold medallion this year. There are 14 Moose Lodges in Montana. The Great Falls Moose Lodge also received a bronze medallion.
The Moose organization is a fraternal organization with three missions. They are Mooseheart, Moosehaven, and our Community. Mooseheart Child City & School is located approximately 40 miles west of Chicago. This is a residential and educational childcare facility. Moosehaven City of Contentment is located in Orange Park, FL on 70 acres on the banks of the St. John River. A private 5 star rated retirement community for Moose members. The final mission is to our communities to make them a better place to live.
