Savage Food Drive For Richland County Food Bank

The VFW Post 4099, Auxiliary, and First Lutheran Church of Savage are sponsoring a food drive for the Richland County Food Bank.

Now through Dec. 11, items may be dropped off at the VFW Club, 124 2nd Ave. NE, First Lutheran Church, Savage, or to the Richland County Superintendent of Schools office at the courthouse. Monetary donations are always welcome so that the food bank can purchase fresh foods and other items they need.

The goal is to collect a combination of $1,500 or 1500 lbs. of food, and with that they will apply for an additional $1,500 through a matching grant from the VFW Foundation.
