The MonDak Area Stockgrowers Association is an affiliate association of both the Montana Stockgrowers Association (MSGA) and the North Dakota Stockman’s Association (NDSA). The association serves cattle producers in Dawson, Richland, Roosevelt, and Wibaux County, MT, Golden Valley, McKenzie, and Williams County, ND. Our organization annually provides scholarships to four students that will have a positive future impact on the agriculture industry. Additionally, we annually provide a scholarship steer to an area 4-H youth who is interested in participating in their first market beef project, along with other community projects. Through membership in our association, you can have a voice in the cattle industry by being connected to our state associations and learn about current issues facing our industry.
This year’s annual meeting will be on Thursday, Nov. 30, at the Elk’s Lodge, Sidney, MT. The social will be at 5:30 p.m. and the dinner and meeting will begin at 6 p.m. The agenda for the evening includes industry updates from both MSGA and NDSA, a guest speaker, and officer and director elections. Prime rib dinner will be served at $15 per person. Join us for an evening of information, fellowship, and some entertainment – you won’t want to miss the horse races following the meeting.
