Jason Ryan Jacobson, 43, Sidney, MT

Jason Ryan Jacobson took his last breath, peacefully, in the arms of his wife, surrounded by family and love on Oct. 12, 2023.

Jason was a force to be reckoned with, nothing held him back and every day he strived to be a better husband, father and man. His two greatest accomplishments, Tyson and Asher, were his absolute pride and joy. He cherished his time with them because he couldn't always be there, physically, for them. He loved sharing his three greatest passions with them, football, working in the shop and art. Of course, we all know he was a die-hard '49ers fan and football was his religion. The love of the game and his team will be carried on by many close friends and family.

2015 was a life changing year, not only did he meet the love of his life, his wife Candace, but also found himself starting a new life as a paraplegic. Jason and Candace's love was unconditional and soulful, with the only regret of not meeting sooner and loving each other longer.

Jason found a new passion in woodworking and created the most beautiful pieces with his bare hands and creative mind, particularly cutting boards. He named his business Lazy Legs Woodworking because of his witty humor and pride of who he was.

Jason was born in Sidney, MT, in September 1980 and thoroughly enjoyed everything that Montana offered, so much so that his wish was to become a tree that grows in the place he loved. In Spring 2024, his wish will be granted.

Jason was the epitome of strength, resilience and determination. His memory will forever be in our hearts and his soul will forever be with his wife.

Jason is now with his grandpa, Joe Quiroz, grandparents, Arvild & Leila Jacobson, and his beloved bulldog, Willis.

Jason is survived by his wife Candace, his two boys Tyson and Asher, two fur kids, grandma Dora, mother Rita and father Rolf, sister Jessica (AJ), aunts and uncles, two nieces and cousins.

On Friday, Nov.10, 2023, a celebration of life was held at the Elks Lodge, Sidney, MT, at 5 p.m.

On Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023, a lake send off for Jason was held at Gartside. If you have memories with Jason here, at one of his favorite places, we welcome you to join. Weather permitting- Jason would be mad if we drove in bad weather.
