DoLannes (Dee) Marie Klaudt
DoLannes went to be with Jesus on Oct. 27, 2023. She was born on Nov 5, 1935 to Nick & Elda Kautzman at New Salem, ND.
DoLannes married Roy Klaudt March 14, 1953. They lived at Mandan, ND. There they welcomed two children, Lonnie & Kim. Then moved to Beulah, ND, where Roy was employed by Knife River Coal Co. They moved to Savage, MT, in 1958. Two more children, Nick & Mike joined the family. Mom cared for her four children and husband at the Knife River mine house. In 1991, Mom & Dad bought a home In Glendive where they lived their retirement years. After Dee's husband of 64 years passed she relocated to St. John's assisted living in Laurel, MT. While there, her son Mike & daughter-in-law Cyndie lovingly devoted their time to looking after Mom.
Mom enjoyed hunting & selling agates. She adored babies and after caring for four of her own, helped with grandbabies. After they moved to Glendive she babysat for several families. Mom took pleasure in baking and made many goodies for her family. She had a "green thumb" and each summer planted a gorgeous array of flowers.
Mom worshiped her Lord & Savior at Yellowstone Community Church, Savage, and West Side Baptist Church, Glendive.
Dee was preceded in death by her husband Roy, her parents Nick & Elda, four sisters, Carole, Winona, Renee, and Bonnett, two brothers, Daniel and Douglas, two brothers-in-law, Jim & Clayton, a sister-in-law, Martha, grandson, Brad, daughters-in-law, Jayne & Renee, and grandson-in-law, Dan.
Dee is survived by children Lonnie (Arlen) Price, Sidney, MT, Kim Klaudt, Bismarck, ND, Nick (Val) Klaudt, Burnet, TX, and Mike (Cyndie) Klaudt, Laurel, MT, 18 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Family Service will be held at Silha Funeral Home, Glendive, on Thursday Nov. 2 at 6 p.m. Funeral Service at Silha Funeral Home, Glendive, on Friday Nov. 3 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dan Pust officiating.
