Correction:

In the Oct. 11, 2023 issue of the Roundup on the front page in the article on the Richland County Commissioners voting on Property Taxes there are a couple of corrections.

In the first paragraph, where it says “They voted to levy the 77.89 mills” they actually voted to levy 77.9 mills which is the amount the state told them was needed, rounded up to the nearest tenth of a mill as state law requires.

In the third paragraph, where it talks about Tim Tharp checking into the mills it says that Tim Tharp is the Sidney School Superintendent; Tim Tharp is not the Sidney School Superintendent. He is the elected Richland County Superintendent of Schools.
