The Sidney Fall Festival, organized by the Sidney Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture, and the Sunrise Women’s Clinic are teaming up to present the Family Walk for Life and the “Conquer the Course” Event.
This 1 or 5k walk/run will take place on Saturday, Oct. 14 at 3 p.m. Registration will start at 2 p.m. Thie event will begin at Veteran’s Memorial Park, Sidney.
Events will include a 1 mile/5k run and walk, plus “Conquer the Course” event.
“Conquer the Course” is a challenging 4-person team competition. The entry fee for the team is $150. This is a fun experience for any family or athletic or club team.
The entry fee for the walk/run is $30 per person, or $100 for a family of four.
“This is a great event for the whole family,” said organizer Stacey McNally. “It is our hope that families, sports teams, churches, businesses, and civic groups will form teams and come out to support this worthy cause! And vie for the traveling trophy. Your support will help us continue our mission to be a voice for those who don’t have one! This is just one of many great family events taking place during Sidney’s Fall Festival. We hope to have you join us.”
