Stockman Bank Celebrates 70 Years Of Serving Montana Sept. 28

Stockman Bank is celebrating 70 years of serving the people, businesses, and communities of Montana!

To celebrate with its neighbors, Stockman is holding a 70th Anniversary Open House at all bank locations on National Good Neighbor Day. Everyone is invited to stop by Stockman Bank, in Sidney, on Thursday, Sept. 28, during normal business hours for treats, refreshments, giveaways, and fun. The day will be kicked off with morning coffee at 9 a.m. with Bill Coffee.

In 1953, Miles City rancher, Bill Nefsy, founded Stockman Bank, with the vision to create a banking organization to serve the needs of the entire community, including local businesspeople, farmers, and ranchers. Today, Stockman is the largest, family-owned, privately held bank in the state, focused on Montana and only Montana.

Stockman CEO, Bill Coffee, says his family has always believed, as a community bank, Stockman has a higher level of responsibility to its customers, employees, and communities. “We have always done the right thing for the long term. Stockman is committed to traditional western values, local management and decision-making, and home-grown community service. This commitment has allowed us to remain independent and family owned for 70 years. We thank our customers for their trust and loyalty over these many years and thank our employees for providing the highest level of customer service in taking care of our neighbors, day in and day out.”
