Johnson Hardware and Furniture will be having a Customer Appreciation event on Saturday, Sept. 23rd. Kyle and Emily Medearis have owned the stores for 1 ½ years and have put a lot of effort into updating the exterior and interiors. With the updates mostly done, they are holding this event for all to come in and see the changes. They would like to thank the community of Sidney for their support, patience, and patronage.
Doors open at 8 a.m., Saturday morning. There will be cake and coffee available and the first 100 customers will receive a free Johnson Hardware and Furniture 5-gallon bucket. There will be a furniture and decor dot sale where red dots mean 50% off, yellow dots mean 20% off, and green dots mean 10% off. The Eagle Booster Club and Cheer Club will be doing a bake sale in the parking lot between the hardware and furniture stores. From 11 a.m.-1 p.m. there will be freewill donation hot dogs. The proceeds will go to the Larry Lynde benefit. Miss Montana Volunteer contestants will be there to apply glitter tattoos for the kids. There will also be a bubble machine and a kid's table with gourd painting. Several prizes will be up for grabs like a Milwaukee pack out cooler, Lone Mountain five-gallon drink cooler, an Ashley Sierra sleep mattress, a $300 Whirlpool credit, a Sealy mattress, Ganz wall shelf, Vortex optic & tripod kit, Malouf convolution pillows, $250 La-Z-Boy credit towards a recliner, a $200 credit towards an Ashley recliner, three gallons of Ben Moore paint, four gallons of Valspar paint, and two $50 gift cards. Registration for the giveaways ends at 3:30 p.m., on Saturday, after which the drawing for prizes will broadcast live on the Johnson Hardware and Furniture Facebook page. Contestants do not have to be present to win. Most of the fun ends Saturday but the furniture sales continue through Sunday.
The Medearis' have been working with several organizations to put this on and they are excited to involve them in the celebration. They are bringing their entire family for the event. Johnson Hardware and Furniture, Sidney, will be open Saturday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Emily said, "We're organizing this event to show appreciation for the community's support. We look forward to seeing everyone!" Make sure to register for the door prizes!
